I saw some art by Siggi Eggertsson when we were in Iceland and was really struck by it. Very reminiscent of eboy with a bit of Kelsey Brookes sprinkled in.

Hilary Williams is one of our favorite SF artists, and for our wedding, Joey & Cassie tracked down one of her prints that Erin and I had been eyeing for awhile. The print’s title is “Dancing Down 22nd Street,” which is appropriate given that Erin & I met while dancing at the Make Out Room on 22nd Street. Hilary even hand-delivered the print to our house, which was a nice touch.
Here’s a fantastic blog about posters and art prints called Robot Walrus. Be prepared to spend a long time looking…
I found a link to Scott Campbell’s art from Robot Walrus below. Holy cow, this guy is good, and his mind is all over the place. 8-bit video game legends, 19th century flying machines, creatures from the deep sea…
Along with my previous post about the Deerhoof show, I should also note that I discovered that Greg knows Jay Ryan, one of my favorite poster artists. Oddly enough, I even have a Deerhoof poster by him hanging above my couch. You can see more of Jay’s work at The Bird Machine
Great story about Harriet Russell, an artist who sent herself 130 amazing postcards that required solving a puzzle in order to deliver them. Amazingly, 120 of them made it.

The 10th Annual Clarion Alley Block Party is taking place on Saturday from noon to 8pm, near Valencia and 17th Street. Here’s more about the Clarion Alley Mural Project.
Not sure if I’ll make it tonight, but there’s a show called Imaginary Friends opening at Gallery 1988 that will include some work by Scott Campbell. Looks very cool.
